The Fraja Ellie Appeal is trying to raise a sum of £500,000 to get Neuroblastoma relapse protocol treatment abroad. Fraja is a 4 year old girl who has been diagnosed with an Fraja Ellie Appeal aggressive form of cancer called Neuroblastoma with MYCN amplification placing her in the high risk category. With her current therapy there is always a chance that her cancer could relapse. Currently in the UK there are no facilities to provide relapse protocol treatment so Fraja would have to go abroad to get the treatment she requires.

Unfortunately 80% of children with Neuroblastoma relapse. Until the facilities are available in the UK going abroad is the only way to get the necessary treatment.  A bucket collection has been organised on the 13th of April around Consett to help raise money for Fraja’s cause. Be sure to donate to this noble cause and help a little girl live a normal life.

There is also a fund raising event being held on the 11th of April at The Steel Club at 19:00 with a raffle and many other fun fund raising activities.
