Are you baaaarny enough for a dance? NCS Durham (National Citizens Service) is part of a national scheme for 16-17 year olds. It’s a chance for
NCS Durham Wild West teenagers to find themselves and also help their local community through community projects.
On the 29th of August at The Demi, Consett, Wild ‘n’ West Dance, a small group part of NCS Durham will be hosting a charity event in order to raise money for MS Trust – a charity close to our group. We are holding an intergenerational barn dance to raise awareness and money for this fantastic charity. This event is for the kiddie-winkles and the wiser generation! The event starts at 1pm and is an all day event. Refreshments are also available.
We are holding many different activities throughout the day aside from the barn dance, such as transforming your children into cowboys and indians and great live bands to listen to.
So if you want a wild, rooting-tooting time, then come along to our western-themed dance – otherwise you’ll be on our wanted list!
