November time is always a good time to catch a new blockbuster at the cinema with a whole host of new films being released before the end of the year. Here are just a few which you could go and check out this month.

  • Bad Grandpa is a gonzo comedy film brought to you by the legendary Jackass crew. If funny and crude are your thing then this is the movie for What To Watch in November BAD GRANDPAyou. Johnny Knoxville plays old man Irving Zisman who is on a cross country trip with his Grandson. Unlike a traditional comedy, many of the scenes are filmed in Jackass style with unwitting members of the public and hidden cameras. This creates a blend of well worked comedy and true shock value. Bad Grandpa is rated 15 and is in cinemas this November.

  • Superhero movies are extremely popular at the moment due to their mix of high intensity action, easy to follow story lines and totally over the top special effects. This makes them a great choice for the family. Thor: Dark World is the first outing for the Nordic God of thunder since the highly successful Avengers Assemble. Chris Hemsworth is back as Thor and if action is your thing then you could do a lot worse than checking out Marvel’s latest superhero blast. Thor: Dark World is out this November rated 12A.

  • One of the funniest and most charismatic films for the whole family this year is based around the somewhat unfamiliar arena of snail racing. What to watch in November Turbo Movie ImageTurbo is a story centred around an ordinary garden snail and his dream to become the fastest in the world. The all star cast of Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L Jackson and rapper Snoop Dogg sets this up to be a great film for the whole family to enjoy. Turbo is out at cinemas now and is rated U.
