On November 30th, Shotley Bridge will be playing host to the annual Victorian Christmas spectacular. Just like last year, the village Shotley Bridge Victorian Christmas 2will undergo a fantastic transformation taking you back to the past with amazing costumes, traditional activities and also a number of different attractions being run by the businesses which call the village their home.

There are a whole host of different activities available for the whole family whilst the Victorian Christmas cracker is running. Be sure to bring your bonnet and get on your Sunday best when you head down to see what’s going on down Shotley Bridge. Many of the businesses will be running special offers on the day to help you get a Christmas bargain. Imago Beauty and Holistic will be giving away discounted treatments and there will also be a fashion show courtesy of Adam and Eve Clothing.

Santa Claus will be making an appearance and can be found in the Sarah Thew photography studios to get a few suggestions in what they want for Christmas. The horse and carriage will also be up and about to give the village a true Victorian theme. In the Church hall there will be an Art Show as well as refreshments available to get a bit of respite from the cold.

At 5pm there will be the ceremonial lighting of the Christmas Tree with a carol service to bring in the holiday season in the way it used to be. If you are looking for something to do at the end of the month then why not head to Shotley Bridge for the Victorian Christmas spectacular.
