There will lots of events going on including two bands – Xedilian and The Ladykillers – and soloist from consett, Chris Justice. Doors open at 7pm, Saturday 1 February and the night will consist of raising as much money as possible for the British Heart Foundation for the Consett charity night.

The British Heart Foundation are the Uk’s biggest funder of heart research. Founded in 1961 by a group of medical professionals, the British Heart Foundation have been helping everyone in need fighting heart disease for just over 50 years.

The medical professionals founded the organisation to fund extra research into the treatment, diagnosis, causes and prevention of circulatory and heart disease.

Every penny or pound you and people around you donate, makes a huge difference to peoples lives just with the power that you have to help.

The British Heart Foundations vision is ‘a world where people don’t die prematurely from heart disease’ and over the past months they have been reflecting on their strategic approach. The new startegy will give the power to focus on their fight for every heartbeat, and allow them to lead the fight against cardiovascular disease more effectively.

So make sure you get down to The Club that Rocks at 7pm on Saturday and show your support to the Consett charity night, in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
