Sweet Tooth Classic Confections aims to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Sweet Tooth Classic Confections is a great new business in the Consett area, owned by Lisa Allerston, where you can get your hands on any classic candies or some more recent upcoming favourites. Whatever your taste you should find something you like, just like a good old-fashioned sweet shop.

Part of the main attraction is the extra-special sweet jars and cones, perfect for parties and gifts or if you just want to Sweet Tooth Classic Confectionstreat yourself! There’s something for everyone at Sweet Tooth, people of all ages can enjoy the variety of products available – candy collections complete with name cards (ideal for weddings) and beautiful jars for a more thoughtful gift.

Candy Carts are on offer to be rented for any event, including birthday parties and weddings. Carts can come with or without sweets to suit any of your special plans. Cones bursting with sweets can take the hassle out of any kids party, and they’re great for a special treat too.

Tastes have definitely changed since the traditional sweet shop ruled the high street, just looking at some of the most popular sweets of the time shows how much has changed; Liquorice, Sherbert, and Bon Bons were sweets of choice whereas now most people seem to prefer chocolate and jellies above all else. Part of that is of course related to the availability of the ingredients for things that are more popular today, chocolate is certainly more easily accessible in 2014 than it was even just 100 years ago.
