HOLLAND V ARGENTINA

( WORLD CUP PREVIEW )

Semi Final Game Kicks off at 9:00pm GMT TIME

World Cup Preview – Tonight see’s the last of the semi final of the world cup between Argentina and Holland, on paper these two sides look very hard to separate. The winner would play Germany on Sunday and whoever goes through know they are in for a very hard game. Germany were outstanding last night and played Brazil off the park on there own turf.

Holland

World Cup Preview for Holland –Holland go into this game with injury concerns over striker Robin Van Persie (Manchester United), if he was to miss the game Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (Schalke 04) would deputise in his place you would think looking at Holland’s attacking options.

Defensively Holland have been great Ron Vlaar (Aston Villa) has been like a real leader, organising the defence and setting the tone. Holland have won every game they have played in this world cup but I don’t think they will beat Argentina tonight, but it’s the world cup and anything can happen anyone can beat anyone and you can’t rule teams out.

I think Argentina will ask some serious questions of Holland tonight I really do, going forward they have a lot of talent. There are some positives for Holland, Argentina have only won by 1 goal in all of their wins so far in the world cup and with Holland having been strong at the back it could be 1 goal that could decide the game.

Argentina

World Cup Preview for Argentina –Argentina going forward are great to watch the players they have shows they are a real force. Argentina go into the game without midfielder Angel Di Maria (Real Madrid), but they have Lionel Messi (Barcelona) and Sergio Aguero (Manchester City) in their ranks and the loss of Di Maria won’t make too much difference because they have a lot of talent and can cope with injuries.

I think defensively Argentina are poor, it was they for everyone to see when they played Iran, Iran opened up their defence on several occasions but didn’t take any of their opportunities. Holland have got players in their side that will cause some problems for the defence, players like Arjen Robben (Bayern Munich) and Wesley Sneijder (Galatasaray). I do think Argentina will win the game but I don’t see a repeat off last night.

I hope this world cup preview has been informative read.
