Local artist Phil Bartle is exhibiting his fantastic artwork from the 1st August to the 27th at Consett Library. (2016)
The collection is titled “Red Dust” and consists of around 40 unique, hand painted and drawn pictures. They depict a humorous and colourful journey through Phil’s memories of growing up in Consett throughout the 1960s and 1970s.
The majority of those of display are prints, due to the sale of the originals.
A wide range of things to do with Consett are covered – nights out, Consett Show, Christmas, local shops etc.
