Over 40 Food Vans and Stalls are Coming to Consett

Your belly is already rumbling at the thought of all that delicious food, right?

Taking over the Consett Rugby Club pitches on Saturday 20th May will be over 40 food vans and stalls for Consett’s best Food Festival ever. Mmmm

The festival is not only the perfect excuse to sample some delicious local cuisine, it’s also raising money for a wonderful local cause, Willow Burn Hospice.

Proceeds from the event will go to Willow Burn Hospice which supports adults from across Derwentside with life-limiting conditions. It truly is a wonderful local charity to support, their great work does not go noticed

More Than Just Food

There’s much more than just food at this festival, there will also be live entertainment from Amy Ridley, Paige Temperley and Chris Shorten who will all be performing on the ‘Elddis Stage’. On top of all of this there will be competitions, fairground rides and a special feature from Jack Drum Arts.

So what type of food (and drinks) will be there?
