Richard Holden MP’s Apprenticeships Fair

Richard Holden, MP for North West Durham, is hosting a Apprenticeships Fair 11am-4pm on Friday 11 February at Derwentside College, Consett DH8 5EE to showcase North East employers all seeking to recruit apprentices now. The Fair is free to attend and open to all.

Apprenticeships on offer include: Accounting, Admin, Bus Driving, Care, Catering, Civil Engineering, Construction, Design, Estimating, Factory Operations, Finance, Fire & Rescue, Groundwork, Hair & Beauty, Health & Safety, Highways Maintenance, Hotels, the NHS, Quantity Surveying and more.

Free parking is available on site along with hot food to purchase if wanted. A Government Minister will also be attending the event.

This fair follows Richard Holden MP’s ‘Jobs, Jobs, Jobs’ Fair in September 2021, which saw well over 400 people attend, with dozens of companies recruiting and scores of people getting jobs in the weeks that followed.

“With our economy having re-bounded from the pandemic, lots of my constituents will be seeking to grab hold of new opportunities as businesses continue to build back better.

“I am delighted to be again working with Derwentside College, who are hosting my Apprenticeships Fair on Friday 11 February. The Fair will showcase the huge range of apprenticeships on offer from top North East employers in Accounting, Admin, Bus Driving, Care, Catering, Civil Engineering, Construction, Design, Estimating, Factory Operations, Finance, Fire & Rescue, Groundwork, Hair & Beauty, Health & Safety, Highways Maintenance, Hotels, the NHS, Quantity Surveying and more.

“Apprenticeships allow people to earn while they learn and gain great qualifications, including up to degree level. The fair is FREE for both organisations and attendees and I very much hope you will come along to Derwentside College to take your career to the next level”.
