Minsteracres is a retreat centre set in 110 acres of countryside on the borders of Northumberland and County Durham. The centre provides retreats for groups and individuals, who can take respite in the space, peace and beautiful surroundings of woodlands and gardens.
In addition to the many retreat opportunities there is also countless avenues for volunteering which include:- hospitality and housekeeping, office and communications and many practical opportunities across our estate, including within our Walled Garden and our Peace Garden.
A warm welcome is extended to new volunteers (age no problem) we have had volunteers aged 80 years plus and the community is so welcoming that you would feel right at home.
