On 20th July 2024, Abigail Lodge in Delves Lane hosted their annual Summer Fair, organised by the Magic Moments Team—Christina Collingwood, Rebecca Crawford, and Rebecca Newton. The event featured a variety of entertainment, including singer Karen King, Mrs Brown, Inspirer la danse School of Dance, and more.
Guests enjoyed stalls, a bouncy castle, face painting, bumper cars, and a petting zoo, with staff and family members volunteering to ensure the day ran smoothly. Residents had a fantastic time, singing, dancing, and interacting with the animals, while also enjoying quality time with their families.
The event was a great success, raising £904 to fund future activities and outings for the residents. The Magic Moments Team expressed their gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the day so special for the residents and the community.
