Looking forward to derby day?

Newcastle and Sunderland have had a run through since the last derby, Newcastle wanting to sign new players and Sunderland climbing to the top of the league.

Sunderlands 3-3 tie with Manchester United last night, (22-01-14) – Man Utd 2, Sunderland 1. Sunderland 2, Man Utd 1 on the final shoot out. Tie finished aggregate, 3-3 – taking the Black Cats to Wembely. ‘Dare to Dream’ was the phrase streaming all over Twitter last last night and early this morning as Sunderland will play in the The Capital One Cup Final on Sunday 2nd March. Before this outstanding game, the boys though of them selves hitting rock-bottom, but they have risen and are powering through saviouring the moment that hasn’t been acheived since 1985.

St. James' Park, Newcastle United FCWhereas Newcastle Utd manager, Alan Pardew, is looking to sign the Dutch international player, Lukk De Jong. De Jong, could be looking to end all dissapointment for the Magpies, and says its just what he needs to rebuild his confidence. Just over two-year ago Newcastle were warned that singing Luuk De Jong would be money stupidly spent, but then not long after they missed out on the deal and De Jong singed for, Borussia Monchengladbach for €15 million. Chancing the deal for a second time together, Newcastle are hoping they will pull it off and the player will be signed to them perminently, but after the loan arrival of Loic Remy the Toon are still trying to sign him as another perminent player.

So alot has happened, but who will be defeated and who will be the defeater in next months derby?
