Hey guys, BuZZila here, artist, DJ and label owner from right here in Consett. 31 years old, advocate for both Type 1 Diabetes & Parkinsons Disease, and also happen to be a business owner. Now, while I've played all over the UK (not forgetting Belfast, Dublin and a residency in Ibiza in 2017), my fourth tour is kicking off this year, and it's going to be a big one. I've got my usual residency on Nova Radio North-East (the MindScape show), and I've graced the decks for well known event brands, including the world famous - Goodgreef - and have a residency with a number of events including the likes of Seriously Uplifting (Newcastle), Celtic Tribe (Swansea), Sawan (Plymouth) and Audasmic (Middlesbrough).
But enough about me; I'm here to mention Buzzin' Records Ltd, my independent North East based record label and event brand. We are based here in Consett, and have finally got our music stocked in HMV (Eldon Square, Newcastle), and a few other stores around the region. We've put on events from Consett to Gateshed, Durham to Newcastle, Middlesbrough to North Shields and more. We don't shoebox ourselves or stick to one specific label or genre; if we like a record, or an artist, band etc then we will sign it. We have people from around the UK on our label, creating music from House to Hip-Hop, Psychedelic Rock to Disco, Classical to Trance and everything in-between. Marq Electronica, Emerald Stone, Kev Thompson, Luke Best (Besty), Wayne McAndrew, Jess Louise McCann and Josh Gippa Gibson are just a few names who we work with.
