Get into the festive spirit as the Christmas Market comes to Consett on November 30th! With over 60 stalls selling fresh produce, including baked bread, meats, scotch eggs, and cheese, as well as craft and gift stalls, there will be plenty of festive treats to explore. Visitors can enjoy hot food from a variety of trailers offering burgers, Chinese, Greek, Caribbean cuisine, and a tempting array of cakes and savory bakes.

Christmas Market

Christmas Market Stalls will be set up in Middle Street, the Derwent Centre, and the Heart and Heritage Centre on John Street. Don’t miss Santa and Mrs. Claus, who will be greeting children in their grotto at the Heart Centre. Santa will also judge children’s artwork displayed on the Heart Centre’s walls, with one lucky winner receiving a gift voucher.

Additionally, local children will be singing in Middle Street at 11 am, and the Consett Christmas Tree Festival will be held at Christchurch the same weekend as the Christmas Market.
