Nothing brings people together quite like festive food, and this December, we’re delighted to bring you some of our favourite Christmas recipes. Perfect for adding a little extra warmth and cheer to your holiday table. Let’s dive in!

Classic Mince Pies
Ingredients:
- 225g plain flour
- 125g cold butter, cubed
- 55g caster sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- Zest of 1 orange
- 200g mincemeat (Not actual meat)
- A sprinkle of flaked almonds
Method:
- In a bowl, rub the butter into the flour until it resembles breadcrumbs. Stir in the sugar and orange zest.
- Add the egg yolk and knead the dough until it comes together. Chill for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough and cut out rounds for your pastry base. Fill each pastry case with a spoonful of mincemeat.
- Top each pie with flaked almonds and bake at 180°C for 15-20 minutes, or until golden.
- Dust with icing sugar and serve warm!

Spiced Gingerbread
Ingredients:
- 225g plain flour
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- 100g brown sugar
- 150g molasses
- 2 large eggs
- 200ml milk
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100g melted butter
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a loaf tin.
- In a large bowl, sift together the flour, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and baking powder.
- In another bowl, whisk the sugar, molasses, eggs, milk, and melted butter until combined.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix until smooth. Pour into the loaf tin and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean.
- Cool and dust with icing sugar for a festive finish.
