The Biking Vikings Northeast attended one of our meetings to give a talk about the fundraising work that that they do in aid of Brain Tumour Research.

We had a great time learning so much about this fantastic cause and even got to join in with the entertainment from piper Terry afterwards.

Consett Lions held its annual Christmas party at The Hobson where we celebrated not only this time of year but the many achievements by Consett Lions this past year. We welcomed guests from the area who have helped this year to be so successful in supporting many worthy causes. Consett Lions were proud to enter this year’s Christmas tree festival at Christ Church.

Consett Lions Club President Ken Toward dropped off a cash donation to help the Glenroyd House Christmas Appeal.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.

We look forward to welcoming many new members in the New Year.
