Since 1942, Consett Rotary has proudly served the community, blending social connection with a commitment to helping others. Known as a “social club with a social conscience,” the club raises funds for local causes, collaborates with community groups, and organises social and fundraising events.

In just the last two years,Rotary has supported local and national causes, including Willowburn Hospice, Macmillan, Daft as a Brush Ambulances, Henry Dancer Days, brain tumour research, and more. The club also runs a weekly dementia-friendly choir and hosts a monthly dementia café at Consett Methodist Church, providing inclusive spaces for connection and support.
