Games, Food and Friendship: Why KoGs Matters

Games, Food and Friendship: Why KoGs Matters

Youth clubs make a huge difference, giving young people a safe space to make friends, build confidence, and try new things.

KoGs is Lanchester’s only youth club, meeting every Monday between 5 – 7.30pm at the Methodist Church for ages 8–18. It’s a fun, welcoming space for everyone, whatever their background.

Started back in 2007 when Laura Cole and Jonny Quinlanin decided there simply wasn’t enough for young people to do in the village, KoGs has grown into a lively (and sometimes messy!) community where young people can enjoy games, a two-course meal, creative activities, trips, and much much more.

A great place to hang out, make friends, and be yourself.
