What began as a small plant nursery in 2010 has grown into a much-loved family destination, with Emma taking the helm in 2018. Emma has a background in early years education, and the centre has been developed with families firmly in mind.

From Potter's World Zoo and the indoor playroom to the duck pond, colourful murals, gardens, gift shop, restaurant and new ice cream parlour, there's plenty to keep visitors of all ages entertained.

Potter's World Zoo offers children the chance to see animals and birds up close, including owls, a giant tortoise and even a giant rabbit. Experiences like these can help children develop an interest in wildlife and understand the importance of caring for animals and their natural habitats.

During Covid, the centre became a welcome oasis for many, with its Deli, garden, spectacular views and friendly atmosphere providing a much-needed place to relax. Its popular afternoon teas remain a firm favourite today.

The long-standing team is also part of the story, with Gillian having worked in the plant and garden section for an impressive 16 years.

From plants and food to play and wildlife, Potter's has grown into a place where families, community and nature come together.
