Hayley, a receptionist at a local veterinary clinic, has raised £235 for Cancer Research UK after completing her Race for Life challenge.
Despite the warm weather and plenty of mud along the course, Hayley crossed the finish line in 1 hour and 20 minutes, raising money in memory of her grandad Roger, who sadly lost his battle with cancer in April.
On her Cancer Research UK fundraising page, Hayley dedicated the challenge “for my grandad Roger who lost his battle in April.”
Following the event, Hayley thanked everyone who supported her fundraising efforts.
“After completing my Race for Life, I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who took the time to donate and sponsor me,” she said.
“In the end, I raised £235 which will go towards helping people with cancer, and hopefully, one day, helping to beat cancer altogether.”

At the time of publication, Hayley’s Race for Life fundraiser had raised £235, plus £55 in Gift Aid.

Well done to Hayley on a fantastic achievement for an important cause.
