This Christmas, let’s come together as a community to make a real difference in the lives of children in need.
Thanks to the incredible efforts of Kathryn Rooney and our amazing local community, the Christmas Toy Appeal is in full swing. This initiative ensures all collected toys stay within our local area, reaching children and families who need them most.
The scheme organisers work hand-in-hand with Social Workers, Health Visitors, Families First teams, and schools to ensure every gift finds the right recipient. Many local shops are participating, and you’ll find Christmas Trees with tags ready for you to join in the spirit of giving.
Here’s how you can get involved:
Pick Up a Tag
Visit a participating shop and choose a tag from the Christmas Tree. Each tag includes the age of a child and a suggested gift idea.
Purchase and Return
Buy the gift and return it unwrapped to the designated drop-off point.
Donate Online
Prefer shopping online? Each tag includes a QR code that links to Amazon. Simply scan the code, make the payment, and your gift will be sent directly to the Christmas Toy Appeal collection point.
