It rings my love.
A parish prize.
To the air above.
In an “ever echo.”
“God’s holy sound”.
All rang in grace.
With skill around.

Now ask the call.
It rang in rhyme.
To an aged wonder.
Of an early chime.
Each to the hour.
A time to sing.
A pull of rope.
In to ear bring.
It is the church!
The bells I love.
They’re in the air.
And souls above
