Tracks Of My Tiers – Poem by Lorraine Weightman

Tracks Of My Tiers – Poem by Lorraine Weightman

People say I’m the head of the party,

You know I tell a lie or two,

Although I might be lying loud and hearty,

Deep inside I’m blue,

So take a good look at my face,

You’ll see my smile looks out of place,

If you look closer you’ll see I can’t trace

or track the three tiers!

I bleed you, bleed you,

Since you lefty’s plot to get me in another whirl,

I’m fuming I’m not having fun,

Although I think I’m cute,

I’m prepared to prosecute

with laws that my parliament’s spun,

So take a good look at my face,

You’ll see my smile looks out of place,

If you look closer you’ll see I can’t trace

or track the three tiers!

Force feed you, feed you

with all my masquerading,

inside my hope is fading,

Just a clown oh yeah,

with my PM’s crown,

My smile is my make up,

I wear since I’ve faked it with you.

So take a good look at my face,

You’ll see my smile looks out of place,

If you look closer you’ll see I can’t trace

or track the three tiers!
