This February and March, the Empire Theatre in Consett, Co Durham, is set to host three unmissable events that promise to entertain, thrill, and captivate audiences.
Kicking off the lineup on 7th February is ’90’s Live!‘, a nostalgic journey through the music that defined a generation. This high-energy show features non-stop hits from iconic artists like Take That, Spice Girls, Britney Spears, and Oasis. With fantastic vocals, genius costumes, and all the dance moves you remember (or might need reminding of), this extravaganza will have you reaching for the stars and pumping up the jam all night long.
On 8th March, prepare to strike a pose with ‘Into the Groove‘, a dazzling celebration of Madonna’s 40-year career. This energetic and colourful production recreates the highlights from the Queen of Pop’s breath-taking live tours. Fans will be treated to all of Madonna’s greatest hits, including ‘Holiday’, ‘Like a Prayer’, ‘Vogue’, and ‘Hung Up’. It’s the ultimate concert night out for anyone who’s ever been touched by Madonna’s music.
For true crime enthusiasts, 6th March brings ‘The Makings of a Murderer 2 – The Real Manhunter‘. This chilling yet thrilling night features Senior Investigating Officer Colin Sutton, known for catching serial killer Levi Bellfield and the ‘Night Stalker’ Delroy Grant. Sutton, whose career inspired the ITV drama series ‘Manhunt’, will share gripping stories from his remarkable career, offering a unique insight into the mind of a top detective.
To make these events even more exciting, the Empire Theatre is offering a special giveaway. Two lucky winners for each event will receive a pair of tickets to attend.
