The Consett Warriors, a proud junior football team within the Consett AFC family, have announced an exciting recruitment drive as they prepare for the 2025/26 season.
Training and playing at the locally renowned Belle View Stadium, the Warriors are now seeking new teammates currently in Year 7, moving up to Year 8, to join their squad for the next chapter in their journey—transitioning to the 11 v 11 format.
The team has already demonstrated strong potential, having enjoyed a successful season with standout performances in the league, a semi-final appearance in the Vase Cup, and competitive runs in three tournaments.
“We’re looking for dedicated players who are ready to grow, improve, and be part of something special,” said the team coach. “It’s not just about ability—it’s about commitment, character, and team spirit.”
Consett Warriors place strong emphasis on their core values of ART:
- Attitude
- Respect
- Teamwork
These values define not just how the players train and play, but how they support one another as a team both on and off the pitch.
If your child is passionate about football, ready to challenge themselves, and wants to be part of a tight-knit team with a winning mindset, this could be the perfect opportunity.
