An Ultra race is anything longer than the 26.2 miles of a marathon. Ian Lowther has already completed several and has 4 more planned for 2024. His longest to date was the ‘Race across Scotland’, which is 215 miles non-stop. He completed this in just over 97 hours and raised a lot of money for ‘Willow Burn Hospice’. He will be running this one again in August. He is now an Ambassador for GB Ultra and supports other runners.
