Dellner Glass Solutions are proud to have received a Bronze ‘Better Health At Work Award’. The scheme, ran by the TUC supported by Public Health England, recognises the efforts of employers who address health and wellbeing issues within the workplace. Attaining the Bronze Award demonstrates Dellner’s commitment to its employees health.

A team of Health Advocates created three programmes of events to tackle employees’ health concerns. Sue McGregor, QHSE Director explained the activities “The first campaign was healthy eating and we introduced free juice and fruit so staff had the option to make a healthier choice. We created a space for everyone to share healthy recipe ideas, we ran a quiz to educate ourselves on healthy eating and the winner won a smoothie maker! For the mental health campaign we ran a photography competition challenging staff to share ideas of how they keep their mental health strong and created a map of the local area showing the walking routes close to the factory to encourage staff to take a break outside. For the back health campaign an Osteopath came to the factory to show us how to look after our back whilst at work and give us exercises to try which was a lot of fun! We are proud to have achieved the Bronze Award and are excited to work towards the Silver Award in 2024”
