Say Something Improv is set to grace the Blackhill Club on Ridley Street with their “once-in-a-lifetime” performance on Friday, November 3rd.
If you’re familiar with “Whose Line Is It Anyway” on TV, you’ll realise that improv is made up of on-the-spot hilarity. The audience provides a starting point and the improvisers take it from there to sometimes absurd, sometimes dark but always funny new places!
No two shows can be the same as the audience always challenges the improvisers in new ways every night. Every show is unique!
Of course, you can come along with no prior knowledge of improv and still enjoy the madness that ensues.
Say Something have been together for a year and are regulars on the comedy scene around Middlesbrough but they’re breaking out to show their talents to the people of Consett.
Come along for a night that’s been described by one of the performer’s daughters as “not as bad as I thought it would be” and by an audience member as being “as good as I’ve seen at the Edinburgh Fringe.”
It’s a “Pay What You Want” show but best to reserve your tickets in advance by messaging Say Something’s Facebook or Instagram page.
On the Instagram and Facebook pages, there are also some short clips of the team doing their thing so have a look, have a laugh and book those tickets!
